ABOUT VEDIC LIFE

A practice built
around one

simple principle.

Vedic Life is a small, home-based Ayurvedic bodywork practice located in Beaconsfield, Western Australia. Created as a quiet, intentional space, this practice is built around one simple principle, that rest is essential.

Each treatment is offered in a calm, professional setting designed to support nervous system regulation and deep relaxation. Sessions are unhurried, grounded, and held with clear boundaries and steady presence.

This is not a fast-paced clinic. It is not a high-volume massage space. Vedic Life operates with limited daily appointments to maintain quality of care, and to allow each client the space to truly soften, settle, and reconnect with themselves.

THE EXPERIENCE

Treatments rooted
in ancient rhythm.

VedicMassage-37.jpg

"Clients are invited to arrive with openness, and leave with steadiness."

Treatments at Vedic Life are inspired by the principles of Ayurveda, an ancient system of health that honours rhythm, balance, and awareness.

Warm oils are applied using slow, rhythmic strokes that encourage circulation, grounding, and relaxation. The focus is not on force or intensity, but on steady, nourishing touch that supports the body's natural capacity to regulate and restore.

Sessions are structured to allow space, before, during, and after treatment, so you are never rushed in or out. The pace is deliberate. The presence is real.

Each session draws on Ayurvedic-inspired techniques, and where beneficial, may incorporate non-Ayurvedic approaches to best meet your body's needs on the day.

THE PRACTICE PHILOSOPHY

Wellbeing is not
something we force.

It is something
we nurture.

THIS PRACTICE VALUES

Vedic Life is inspired by the principles of Ayurveda, a traditional system of health that honours rhythm, balance, and awareness.

At its core, this approach recognises that wellbeing is something we nurture. Through steady, nourishing touch and intentional rest, the body is supported in doing what it naturally knows how to do, regulate, repair, and restore.

Self-care is not indulgence. It is responsibility. When we tend to ourselves with consistency and respect, we create resilience that extends into every part of life.

  • Slowness over urgency

There is no rush here. The pace of each session is entirely intentional.

  • Presence over pressure

Genuine care, not performance. Steady, attentive touch, not forced outcomes.

  • Quality over quantity

Limited daily appointments exist to protect the experience for every client.

  • Care that is steady, not rushed

From the first message to the final moment of your session.

ABOUT THE PRACTITIONER

Richelle

Bodywork Practitioner

Vedic Life was founded by Richelle, a qualified bodywork practitioner whose path into this work was shaped as much by life as by study.

THE FOUNDATION

Before establishing her practice, Richelle spent over 20 years working as a carer in remote regions of Australia,  supporting individuals with special needs and managing aged care facilities. Those years cultivated patience, steadiness, and a profound respect for the human body and its capacity for resilience.

THE STUDY

Her journey into Ayurveda began with formal study and the completion of her diploma in Ayurvedic Health Coaching. What began as an interest in holistic health deepened into a passion for therapeutic bodywork, particularly the restorative practice of Abhyanga.

THE PRACTICE

Before opening Vedic Life, she worked within a clinical setting, refining her massage skills and developing her approach to professional therapeutic bodywork.

TODAY

Today, her work continues that thread of care, offered through grounded presence, clear professional boundaries, and attentive touch. Every session at Vedic Life carries the weight of that experience.

WHAT TO EXPECT

A space designed
to feel steady
and contained.

01

Limited Daily Appointments

Vedic Life sees only 3–4 clients per day. This is a deliberate choice to protect the quality of treatment and the sustainability of the practitioner.

02

Sessions Are Unhurried

You will not be rushed in or out. Space is held before and after each session, allowing your nervous system to fully settle into the experience.

From the moment you make contact, the intention is for everything to feel clear, calm, and respectful, so that by the time you arrive, you can simply let go.

Intake forms and policies are required prior to all appointments, in place to ensure the safety and comfort of every client, and to protect the integrity of the practice.

03

Professional & Therapeutic Only

Treatments are offered within clear and respectful professional boundaries. This practice exists to support your genuine wellbeing, nothing more, nothing less.

WHY AYURVEDA

An ancient system for
a modern kind of tired.

Ayurveda is one of the world's oldest systems of health — and it remains deeply relevant because it works with the body, not against it. Rather than forcing results, Ayurvedic principles guide us toward balance through rhythm, rest, and awareness.

Rhythm & Balance

Ayurveda recognises that the body thrives on rhythm, regular rest, nourishment, and movement. When we honour these rhythms, we create the conditions for lasting wellbeing.

The Nervous System

Slow, rhythmic touch communicates safety to the nervous system. When the body feels safe, it can release held tension, enter rest, and begin to restore itself from the inside out.

Warm Oil Therapy

The use of warm, therapeutic oils in Abhyanga supports circulation, nourishes tissues, and creates a deeply grounding experience, calming both body and mind simultaneously.

You Deserve This

Investing in rest is not a luxury. It is a foundational act of self-respect. Ayurveda reminds us that tending to ourselves is what allows us to show up fully in every other part of life.

Rest is not indulgent.
It is essential.
